Our leadership

Dr. Anuj Gupta — Hon. President

With over 18 years of experience in scientific research, Dr. Anuj is Senior Consultant and Head of Biochemistry at Medanta, Gurugram, Haryana. As Honorary President he guides the team in implementing our intellectual property awareness programmes.

Vikram Raghuvanshi — Hon. Vice-President

An expert in information technology, Vikram oversees coordination among the project groups and ensures their alignment with the objectives of the organisation.

Dr. Ruchi Upadhyay — Hon. Secretary

A seasoned dentist and certified yoga and meditation trainer, Ruchi shapes FIRSTIP’s strategic direction, oversees compliance, and builds partnerships with stakeholders across industries and communities.

Akhilesh Kumar Saxena — Hon. Treasurer

An avid learner across environmental law, regional languages, yogic science and other traditional methods of maintaining wellbeing, Akhilesh is responsible for the finances of the organisation.

Dau Mittal — Hon. Programme Coordinator

With a master’s degree in computer science and an MBA from IIM Bangalore, Dau volunteers as Programme Coordinator for Digital Literacy and Internet Governance, designing awareness programmes that promote digital inclusion, online safety and responsible internet use.

Pradeep Kumar Agarwal — Hon. Legal Advisor

A founder member of FIRSTIP from Uttarakhand, Mr Agarwal has more than 35 years of experience as a lawyer before courts and tribunals, and has conducted hundreds of mediations. He represents public sector undertakings, banks and insurance companies, and advises the organisation on its legal and regulatory requirements.
